She was a quiet, unassuming woman, a good neighbor and a devoted Christian. Here sphere was in the home. It was there she was well known and loved by all who came into the home. It was there she was well known and loved by all who came into the home. She was a great sufferer and expressed a desire to live, but was willing to go and be at rest. The funeral and burial services were conducted by Rev. W. M. McClearen at the Methodist church and the Cookeville cemetery Sunday afternoon, Aug. 31, 1913, and were largely attended. Bro. McClearen spoke feelingly and eloquently of the resurrection and the future life. May the influence of her life always be the those who follow her. Geo. W. Nackles [Date: 9/4/1913, Vol. XI, No. 36, Page 3]
