NOTES
- Overton County, TN Marriages records a marriage record for Ephraim Vaughn and Anney Whited on 28 Jun 1877. The 1900 Overton County, TN Census indicated that Ephraim Vaughn was married twice. However, the 1860 & 1880 Overton County, TN Censuses list Ephraims wife's name as Caroline (the family has not yet been found in the 1870 Census). Caroline also ages appropriately for the 1860 and 1880 censuses. It is not known at this point who this Ephraim and Anney are.
- It is an unusual family that hath neither a Lady of the Evening or a Thief!

- Family faces are like magic mirrors. Looking at people who belong to us, we see the past, present, and future.…
- Genealogy: Where you confuse the dead and irritate the living.
